The Challenge
The White Company wanted to expand their portfolio and wanted reassurance prior to investment. CACI were approached to help identify the best retail centres for expansion, and to understand the impact of new store openings on their existing portfolio and on their direct sales channels.
The Solution
CACI's InSite was used to map customer drive times to stores and to conduct multi channel time series analysis. Key performance drivers were identified and the influence of the variables on direct sales channels and on existing stores could be analysed.
The Results
This analysis, enabled The White Company to understand the true impact of introducing new stores on their current portfolio and highlighted the effects of sales cannibalisation and an incremental increase in sales online and at the call centre.
